Gama Cendekia is a student organization found on September 28th, 2002 in Universitas Gadjah Mada focusing on interdisciplinary research and studies. Gama Cendekia was announced officially as an Interdisciplinary Research and Study Unit on 2004. It aims to provide an umbrella of students self-actualization through observation and problem-analysis in society from many different perspectives of discipline which eliminate partition among them.
Vision
Study and research unit of Gadjah Mada University which interdisciplinary discuss and research an issue by taking benefit of campus facilities, and explore student scientific potential while simultaneously put moral and religious values forward, toward faith and devout to God
Missions
- Relates various disciplines through elimination of partitions among them in order to solve problems in university and society level.
- Becomes facilitator and dinamisator of faculty study clubs to collectively raise common scientific topic and agenda.
- Optimum exploration of student’s scientific potential by increasing research and study sense of an issue.
- Shapes Gadjah Mada University students as professional academic in each of their disciplines, also widely-insight, morally-noble, and put religious value forward, toward faith and devout to God.
